HUGE ASS HAIL

it's snowing!

saturday
-slept in becuase i have  a killer cold
-i just didn't have it in me to round at the hospital
-went and bought some new super fancy sheets + pillows
--hello 2000 thread count
-then i hung out playing grand theft auto
-picked K up at 6:30
-went to the pain medicine group's christmas party @ dave and buster's
--we got :
=dinner
=$20 in tokens/cards whatever
 =4 drinks per
--it was super fun
--but my boss gave a speech about how hard times are, which made me feel guilty
-on the way home we stopped and got booze


sunday
-slept in
-went to the illegal chinese restaraunt in the back of the asia grocer's
-came home
-went back to sleep
-i feel like my face is gonna explode from sinuitis
-slept
-now i am going to chug nyquil.

today reminded me of some conversaiton i had with a stonre chick at some party a while back

her: man, i am baked
me: uhm, cool...
her: just enough for my first day of work tomorrow
me: should you really be getting super stonde like 3 hrs before your first day at a new job?
her: yeah, i figure they will just think that this is how i am, and then i go in fried all the time.


so with that in mind:  today

today
-woke up
-went to neuro practice
--old boss admits the practice is in dire straits
--asks me if i want to go into some weird speciality practice which is never going to work
--then he spends like an hour making fun of me for thinking a song was by stevie wonder
-then went to orientation at the new job
--3 hrs late
--new boss calls me to yell at me
--i tell him that he can either calm the shit down or i walk (god i love having a job i don't really want)
-the new job is kinda bullshit
-drive home and made like $45 from my gas allowance
-called me gramma on the way home
-home
-cooked some chili.

 

5 hrs....

I am in the worst bar in history. Except it is
a block from my place and has$2 whiskey drinks served in pint glasses.

I also had a session with a personal trainer. Dude was stone cold amazed that I said I was heading to a bar lateron tonight.

i don't know  if i ever told any of you, but i got a SEVERE love of polar bears.


i used to like to watch them swim at teh licoln park zoo.


anyway, i just found a place where you CAN SWIM WITH TEH POLAR BEARZ.


i will be heading that way, as soon as the pool is open for the season.

the best part: you can have a private party swimming with the polar bears.

if anyone wants to go with me, let me know.

happy guy fawkes day

Yo mama's so ugly, when she was born, they named her "Damn!"

so here has been what's up.



i got to my house.
after a few days, i decided to reorganize the cabint under the sink.
-in doing so, i discovered a fireextinguisher, which i placed on the counter
-later on, i got drunk, knocked over the fireextinguisher, whihc had no safety ring, this made the fireextinguisher GO OFF IN MY FACE.
-i promptly got druunk as balls

the following day
-i went to the grocery store.
-as i pulled into my driveway, i notice all this smoke COMING FROM UNDER MY CAR.
-THAT'S RIGHT, I HAD A SECOND CARFIRE.
- but the aforementioned fire extinguisher was empty.
-and i didn't know where the hose was.
-imagine me, running back to the kitchen, dumping the iced tea pitcher on the engine bloack, and running another lap.
-now my car is slighlty charred, but i have no way of getting food, so i sponge off my neighbors and invite myself to dinner evey night,
-this causes me to drink heavily every night.

new experiences:
-drinkig nWITH THE GUITARIST FROM JEFFERSON AIRPLANE
-going to my 73 year old neighbor's house for drinks, and hten she discovered she has no alcohol and gave me vicodin instead.
-telling a polish supermodel she was "dumber than my cock"
-passing out in the woods on the way home from a dinner party
-tkaing a taxi to get the new harry potter book
-faliing down a hill and getting a 4 inch cut on my elbow that needed stiches but i had no way of getting anywhere so i superglued it. ( i have a wicked looking scar now)
-seeing an irish setter tree a bear.

my best friend ere is a 48 year old stock broker

other than that my schedule is:
-wake up 11 AM
-drink coffe on hte porch looing down thte mountain ( i can see to connecticut)
-do some work on th ehouse
-walk to the deli to order my sammich
-go to the pool and swim 1 mile
-go home
-walk to the ice cream store
-talk abou opera with the owner
-walk to someone's house for dinner
-drink with them on th eporch until it si time to go home (approx 2am)


things i learned about my fmaily:
-my geat great uncle founded the NRA
-we owned several hotels at one point

i also ofund a wallet from 1872 in one of the closets which i am now using
-how do i know it is from 1872? the trian schedule in it is from 1872.


anyone should show up. my neighbors are hilarious and have pretty much any connection you could want. law, financ, art, sports, whatever.

i have a lto more to write, but i have't tuly woken up yet.

friday
-JA came to town
-went to teh dials show @ hideout
-TD was there (weird)
-went to suki louge to hang out with some dude named I who JA was up ons
-got home at like 3
-M was waiting there at my door

saturday
-woke up
-JA went to JT's hosue to pick up her shit
-then came back and showered
-to indie to eat
-then we tried to go to the surgical science museum, but went shopping instead
-met up with JT and A for more shopping
-went home
-T called, and we started to go there, but tehn M got sick and we had to go home

sunday
-woke up
-it was sunny and 68
-went to teh ZOO
-then to north beach
-then we walked to a tea house for lunch
-then to B&N for books
-then to a bar to have some drinks

things i heard at the lincoln park bar

dude: "i am not shallow, i have been dating the same girl for 3 weeks"

dude to his girlfriend: " today was awesome, i got to see some titties"

i am so incredibly psyched it's not even funny.

i just found out i get 6 weeks off before i start my new job.

as of july 5th i will be living in austin, tx


i have a signed contract and everything.

as of this morning i was matched to an intership program.


i find out on monday if i move to austin, houston, or stay in cold ass chicago.

oh yeah, everyone should buy a subscription to the la record.

i will be in houston friday night.

i'm going to portland to present.

today
-went to work
-i had a grand total of 2 patients so i spent the day staring at my office wall
-S the nurse and i discussed golf
-then i went tot eh ER and actually worked for a bit
-over lunch i told a few peopel i was single and someoen reacted wit interest
-costco
-school
-realized i had forgotten 2 sections of a class i TA (oops)
-home
-watched wonder falls
-now i am tired and will go to sleep.
